The new rules state that any person born after April 1, 1983 must have a Boat Operator's License now to drive a motorized boat within Canada. By the year 2009 it will be mandatory for everyone operating a boat to have this license. Anyone over the age of 8 can take the course and write the test.
We have available at Happy Holiday Cabins the complete course in a book developed by the Safe Boater Training Program. To order your book please send a cheque or money order for $25 (includes taxes and postage) to Happy Holiday Cabins, RR#1, 652 Corbeil Road, Corbeil, Ontario, P0H 1K0. When you have completed the book you are ready to write the test. The test can be taken here at Happy Holiday Cabins by appointment.
