Happy Holiday Cabins is a fishing-oriented camp that consists of 15 housekeeping cottages and one trailer site, each with their own frontage and view of the lake.  The business has been operating for over 90 years although we have owned and operated it for the last thirteen years.  View Map of Campgrounds.

In the summer we cater to families who like to sun, swim, water-ski and fish and generally enjoy outdoor activities by a lake.  75% of our customers are repeat families who return year after year in the summer months.  In the spring and fall are when we attract mainly groups of fishermen/women who like the great action of Lake Nosbonsing walleye and muskie fishing.

Our basic cottages are clean, comfortable and most of all affordable for the average family who enjoys lakeside activities.  All cottages are equipped with electric heat, stoves/ovens and refrigerators, full double beds, single beds or bunks and indoor washroom facilities including sink and toilet.

Running water pumped from a well runs to very kitchen and water pumped from the lake runs to all bathrooms & showers.  All cottages have hot and cold water in the kitchen except for #3, #14 and #15.  Four cottages (#2, #4, #5 and #6) have been upgraded to include showers and there is a separate shower house available to the rest of the camp. 

Each cottage has its own dock, picnic table, fire pit (except #5) and lake frontage.  All cooking utensils, including kettles, toasters, coffee makers, pots, pans, dishes, cutlery is supplied.  If you choose not to cook during your holiday, there is a licensed restaurant on the premises with a reasonable-priced and delicious menu.

HOT SHOWERS ON THE PREMISES FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE--with lots of hot water and cleaned & sanitized daily, you can access the showers at your convenience with keys provided at each cottage.

THINGS TO BRING:

Blankets and pillows are supplied but you should bring your own linens, towels and extra blankets or most people just bring a sleeping bag.

You may want to bring drinking water.  Although the kitchen water is supplied by an artesian well (spring fed), it is untreated and subject to surface contamination for example in a heavy rain-fall, and we cannot guarantee the quality of the water from day to day.  We recommend that you boil the water here as it is delicious and pure spring water.  All tests done in the year  2007 came back suitable for drinking.  In the bathroom, the water is drawn from the lake and although filtered should not be used for drinking.

Other things you may like to bring are lawn chairs, gas barbecue, fans in the summer months.
