FISHING--check out our "Big Fish Board"
The fishing on Lake Nosbonsing is excellent especially in the spring and fall when the water temperature is a bit cooler. Pickerel is the most sought after fish, but also in the lake are Bass, Muskie, Pike, Sun Fish, Perch, Ling (a freshwater cod).
We will provide you with a map showing the "hot spots" and give you tips on where to fish.
The laws in Ontario requires one to have a fishing license on them at all times while fishing. For information on fishing regulations see the Ministry of Natural Resources regulations
OPENING FISHING DAYS:
Lake Nosbonsing is closed to all species of fish from March 16 until the third Saturday in May when Pike, pickerel and perch open.
